Prepare with a purpose
Read the objectives and preparation for your assigned lesson. Ground-study material and linked references help you connect the ideas to what you will do in the airplane.
The Merlin student portal
Flight training works better when you know what to study, what to practice, and what comes next. Our software brings your training plan and instructor feedback together.
Built around the lesson
Open your assigned syllabus and see the lesson objectives, preparation, exercises, and reference material in one place. Review your instructor’s feedback afterward, then focus your study on the skills that need attention.
Your instructor stays at the center of your training. The portal helps you carry that guidance from the briefing room to your study time at home.
One connected training routine
Read the objectives and preparation for your assigned lesson. Ground-study material and linked references help you connect the ideas to what you will do in the airplane.
Bring your questions to the briefing. Work through the lesson together, with instruction adapted to your progress and the conditions that day.
Review recorded feedback, strengths, areas to improve, and assigned study when your instructor adds them. You have a clear place to return to after the flight.
Track skills as they are introduced, practiced, and assessed by your instructor. Use the portal to arrange your next lesson and keep your training moving.
Built for your training
Assigned courses break training into lessons with objectives, preparation, exercises, and standards. Aircraft notes connect the lesson to the airplane you train in.
Instructor assessments show more than a checked box. See what is developing, what needs more practice, and what to study before the next lesson.
Access your schedule, assigned learning material, progress, and available lesson feedback from the same student account.
The portal’s assigned syllabus and personal progress are for enrolled students. You can explore our public guides and speak with an instructor before you enroll.
Feedback appears when your instructor records or publishes it. Ask your instructor about your debrief and study plan; the portal does not promise an automatic write-up for every flight.
Your instructor evaluates your readiness and the required experience and endorsements. Progress indicators help organize your training; they do not replace those decisions or your official logbook.
