Bucks County · Training at KPNE
For Lower and Central Bucks County, Northeast Philadelphia Airport (KPNE) is close to Bensalem, Trevose, Langhorne, Newtown and Yardley. Merlin Flight Training offers one-on-one flight lessons there in a modern two-seat trainer.

Training takes place at KPNE in Northeast Philadelphia, between Roosevelt Boulevard (US 1) and I-95.
Bucks County has several general-aviation airports, and most of them are non-towered, which is great for relaxed pattern work. KPNE has a control tower and sits under Philadelphia’s Class B airspace, so training here means you:

At KPNE you talk to air traffic control from your first lesson and learn the airspace around Philadelphia in real conditions. Those skills carry over to every airport you fly to later.
You need to be 16 or older to train with us. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian signs a consent form.
You fly the airplane with an instructor beside you, then we talk through what training would look like for you. Questions first? Call or text (445) 456-3599.
